Bhutan, the Scourge of God and Terror of the World (Part II) The Russian newspaper Moskovskaya Pravda published the following article about the Bhutanese seizure of Latakia, which was Bashar al Assad's last stronghold in the North. The story is based on the account of Hussein al Moubayed, who witnessed the Bhutanese conquest of his city first hand before he was able to escape to Damascus, where he reported his experiences to the government authorities and the media. "There is one story about the great inhumanity committed by the Royal Bhutan Army in the vanquished city of Latakia in Syria, which is chronicled by Hussein al Moubayed, a former police chief who was able to escape from his Bhutanese executioners. He gives a clear illustration of the madness of the Buddhist invaders. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the 21st century Bhutanese incarnation of Tamerlane, is responsible for the deaths of millions throughout Syria and Iraq. His violence and brutality still penetrates the mind for its complete surpassing of the moral order, and sheer neglect of all sympathy and mercy. The King is a Buddhist of the most fundamentalist degree, believing whole heartedly that Buddha has prophesied his coming and that he will unify Asia under his rule, and that all Alawites, Shiites and Jews deserve death or subjugation. The goal is to create, through the means of arms, a universal Buddhist empire. The Royal Bhutan Army is set to establish this empire from the Himalayan Mountains to the heart of India, the borders of China, the Suez Canal in Egypt, the Syrian shore of the Mediterranean, and finally to Asia Minor. It is the year 2014, and we are witnessing the fate of a city, Latakia in Syria, after it was besieged by General Lam Dorji, one of King Jigme Khesar’s most ruthless military commanders. The inhabitants are filled with terror as the general and his warriors seize booty and take lives. But the mere killing of human beings does not satisfy the sanguinary pleasures of General Dorji–he needs to kill with sadistic creativity. Throughout the vast swathes of land that were conquered by the Royal Bhutan Army, he had entire multitudes of people holocausted if they were suspected of being loyalists of President Bashar al Assad. He had their heads severed, and several towers erected out of their skulls. The Bhutanese hordes are conquering much of the Levant under the influence of a certain maxim: 'His Majesty said that the Thunder Dragon's warriors, when they have entered a city, lay it waste and bring low the most powerful of its people; and thus they will do. Therefore prepare for that which will befall you, if you refuse to submit to the Thunder Dragon.' After Brigadier General Massoud al Zubaydi of the Syrian Army surrendered Latakia to the Bhutanese victors, General Dorji made a promise to the five thousand Syrian soldiers there that he would spare their lives, but he buried them and al Zubaydi alive by forcing them into an empty apartment block, which the Bhutanese destroyed with dynamite, forcing it to collapse with all the soldiers inside. General Dorji gathered with his officials and invited the learned Syrian men, all of them members of the Latakia government, to sit with him. This was quite typical of Eastern hospitality. He wished to corner these men with riddles, as he was in the habit of doing to see if they are worthy of living or not. With his relaxed composure and repose he posed this question: 'When some of our men and yours were slain, who were the martyrs, our slain or yours?' The answer was the difference between life or death. The Syrian officials were mostly Alawite and Shiite, the Bhutanese were Buddhist, and both saw each other as infidels. If the Syrians gave the title to their men, then they would receive the sword; if they said the opposite, then they would become heretics, leaving their eternal fates in jeopardy. They appointed the deposed governor Abdulqader Abdulsheikh to answer the question, since they esteemed him as the most erudite among them: 'This same question was put to our master, the Prophet of Allah, on whom be the favor of Allah and peace! to which he replied and I reply the same as our master, the Prophet of Allah…' General Dorji turned his ear toward the official and asked him how Muhammad replied. 'He who fights to make strong the word of Allah,' he said, 'which is the highest this, is a martyr.' 'Good! Good!' happily exclaimed the general. General Dorji promised that he would spare the lives of the Syrians in the room, and then posed another deadly question: 'What do you say concerning Lord Buddha and Ayatollah Khomeini?' Khomeini is praised by the Shiites to have been the Imam of Islam; Buddha is revered by the Bhutanese but seen as a false idol by the Shiites. The lives of the Syrians would depend on the answer given. One Shiite answered that all of them preached a divine message. General Dorji snapped at him in violent anger. 'Khomeini was a heretic who hated Bhutan and Buddhism ,' he said, 'He was a wicked usurper; but you men of Latakia and Damascus, committed blasphemy against Lord Buddha and against His Majesty King Jigme Khesar.' The next morning he broke his oath and robbed all of his guests of their furniture and utensils. He then subjugated them to various tortures. In the following days, the Bhutanese occupiers placed many of the inhabitants in chains, destroyed their holy sites, and had more massacres committed. But General Dorji promised to spare the captured Baath party members, and kindly ordered them all to go into a large hall, having it filled until there was six thousand people–both young and old. He sealed all entrances and had the building razed with flames. He also commanded each and every one of his men to bring him 'the head of a man.' It took three days for them to gather a sufficient amount of heads. Sufficient for what you ask? For three towers of skulls to be built. And as Latakia lay desecrated, General Dorji sat in a royal banquet, feasting in Eastern luxury and gulping wine in golden goblets."
